Not as easy as installing the exact original model but new control was easy to install (a little bit of increasing the opening in the hot tub). Setting up programs is a little more involved as well but at $400 cheaper well worth a bit of your time.
Everything arrived undamaged. No screws for key pad. Would have been nice to know that you need new motor cords when installing this new system.

This part replaced the old unit perfectly, the only difficulty was selecting and programming the correct setup. A quick search online provided an easy to follow video and my Hot Tub is back in action.
Very easy to install. Programming was ok, but only available online. Balboa manufacturer was not willing to help a homeowner, but would help a business. Product was a very cost effective unit replacement. I would order one again if needed.

Delivery of the product was fast, hook up was easy. The only thing that took some time was programming the control panel and how to do it. No instructions were included with the unit so had to rely on the internet to find the programming
This unit works like a charm. I finally got the new pac installed. I had a trouble with programming the unit for my particular tub but, Dave , was an excellent support and provided all the help I needed. Wow... so impressed and I saved over $1000 dollars. I like to go with local businesses but I couldn't this time because Dave saved me significant cash over what my local spa provider was going to charge me.
