Canada Hot Tub Parts is an authorized Balboa online dealer for all Balboa parts. The CMS activation code for the wifi system is provided for the ControlMySpa purchased from Canada Hot Tub Parts. The activation codes can only be provided by Canada Hot Tub Parts and can not be obtained from Balboa. They can only be obtained from the authorized dealer and are serial number specific.
The installation of this was really straight forward. The app seems to be a little buggy, loosing connection while communicating with the spa. Spa time is not very accurate, seems to gain an hour every week. It would be better if it used an NTP server and automatically adjusted the time.
When setting the filter cycles, I keep updating the times and saving the settings. It says the change was saved, but when you refresh, the old times are still shown.
It would be nice if the system showed the kWh used and have a history or log.
Connecting to Google Home is not well documented.
Overall, its nice to reduce the temperature when not in use.
I ordered and installed a Balboa ControlMYSPA System. I am out of my mind happy with this gizmo! It saves me hours of driving each week, and I had an issue with my spa that was resolved because I could rectify a situation because of the ControlMYSPA. I am the poster child for promoting this thing, and am so happy. I am bad with technology, and it literally hooked itself up. Very pleased with the service from Canada Hot Tub Parts..Top Notch!

Recently installed this device on my refurbished 12 year old tub. I had install issues with set-up but, I believe its because Balboa was slow to set up my account so the modems could talk to each other. The system is now working great
I no longer have to go outside to turn up the heat on the tub. Its all done from the comfort of my house.
