What are Chlorine Tablets?
1″ Mini-Chlorinating Tablets. 100% slow-dissolving, stabilized tabs. For controlling harmful bacteria in hot tub water. For use in auto chlorinators or in floating dispensers.
Why Chlorine Tablets?
- Chlorine is an extremely efficient disinfectant for hot tub water.
- Controls bacteria and algae in hot tub water.
- Effective at pH levels ranging from 7.2 to 7.8.
- Slow-dissolving pills are ideal for regulated chlorine release.
- Simpler to maintain the level of chlorine than granular.
How Much :
- In general, a 1,000 L. hot tub will use:
- 10 grams per day
- 3 – 5 tablets per week
- A Mineraluxe tub of 1,000 L will use:
- 5 grams per day
- 1 – 3 tablets per week
How :
- Never utilize a dispenser that was previously used to hold another chemical product.
- Chlorinating Tablets should be dispensed using a floating dispenser or a controlled feeder.
- Fill the dispenser or feeder with the number of tablets needed to treat for a week or a predetermined period.
- Use Mineraluxe Stabilized Chlorinating Granules to establish the residual or boost when < 3 ppm.
- Weekly oxidation/clarification treatments with Mineraluxe Oxygen are recommended.
